Offset Printing
Offset Printing has been around forever and it is still used extensively today. Offset printing is the process by which a separate plate for each color is made and ink is transferred from that plate to a cylinder to the print material in a specially designed press.
Offset is ideal for larger runs (1000+ pieces) of letterhead, envelopes, note/scratch pads, carbonless forms, invoices, work orders or business cards. One of the biggest benefits of offset printing is color matching. We can mix ink to just about any color in the Pantone spectrum (including metallic silver and metallic gold!) to exactly match your logo.
Samples & Processes
Offset printing for most customers is only realistic for larger runs because of the set-up costs. As always we have no minimums but at the smaller quantities you are paying almost exclusively for setup of the metal plates and setting up the press.
Invoices or Work OrdersWe can print custom invoices for your company on normal paper or padded NCR (carbonless 2-part, 3-part or 4-part forms) for redundancy. We can also number them to keep your records organized. We regularly print on the reverse side of invoices also for legal disclaimers or other important text. EnvelopesMany of our customers like to have preprinted envelopes with the return address for that professional look. The addition of custom spot colors makes your business really stand out. Also there are a wide variety of envelopes that can be printed with this method including self sticking, peel-and-stick, linen, vellum and more... LetterheadThere are few things that look as professional as a good letterhead. Many customers like to have their letterhead professionally printed so that they can print out their correspondence in only black (saving money on printing color). In addition you can use special effects like a faded logo in the background of the whole page or bleeds (where the image extends off of the edge of the page). Business CardsOffset printed business cards are classic and timeless. Many people still prefer to have their business cards done this way because of the 'feel' of the ink and because it opens up a wide range of paper choices for that super custom look. |
